The Italian Night
On Saturday the 11th of July the Dundee sailing club hosted the first Italian Night. Almost forty people between members of the club and their families and friends joined the event. The menu was exclusively Italian. Pizza, lasagne and tiramisù, rigorously home made, were served along with a carefully selected list of finest Italian wines.
Jazz music on the background and the projection of La Dolce Vita gave a vintage hint and contributed to create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The quiz was a further occasion to familiarise and test the guests’ knowledge of Italian culture! A bottle of Spumante, a selection of Italian chocolates and a teddy bear were the sought after prizes. A perfect evening, to be repeated.
